About us

This site presents the solid wood furniture that Palmiye Wood Decoration, a woodworking company in Istanbul, produces for hotels. Solid timber is our material of choice for pieces that are touched, moved and leaned on all day, and that should still look good after years of service.

In hotels, solid wood is most often used for dining tables and chairs, bed frames, benches, side tables, desks and the exposed frames of lounge furniture. These pieces carry loads and suffer knocks, so we pay particular attention to joinery, to the direction of the grain in legs and rails, and to finishes that can be repaired rather than replaced. Oak, walnut, ash and iroko are frequent choices, and other species can be supplied on request.

Timber is selected for each order, dried and conditioned before machining, so that furniture stays stable in air-conditioned rooms. When large surfaces such as wardrobes or wall panels are needed, we combine solid wood frames with veneered panels in the same species, which keeps the look consistent and the construction practical.

Every project starts with drawings and a furniture list, followed by a sample piece for approval. Production takes place in our workshop and installation is handled by our own team on site, with deliveries planned area by area. We also pack and ship solid wood hotel furniture to projects abroad. Send us your list of pieces and drawings, and we will prepare an offer.
